Show Notes

Aaron and Sjors explain what happened in the pro forma hearing concerning the trial against Alexy Pertsev, one of the developers behind the Ethereum-based Tornado Cash mixer. While this means that this episode dives more into the domain of Ethereum smart contracts and Dutch law, Aaron and Sjors do discuss the ongoing case from a Bitcoin perspective.

I am listening to your podcast in PocketCast because I just can't seem to get used to Fountain and always go back to pc that has much more intuitive UX. so I will just randomly boost some episode from time to time here. I really like your podcast and how you break down more technical aspects of Bitcoin. Btw only after 6 episodes or so I realized that I assigned your voices to the other person. So it was a bit of a mind fuck to switch the voice to the proper person :)) anyway cheers guys

What makes a non-RBF transaction "new" to a node and when is it just "another version"? Is it e.g. considered a new transaction if some of the input UTXO changes?
