Hey everyone I’m Pastor Gary Hoban and welcome to episode 3 of Refinery Life radio.
Our goal here is to release a 2-3 minute Podcast each day, designed to challenge you and get you to spend more time with God.
Today we are going to talk about, being too busy to pray.
Are you too busy to pray?
All too often when we fail to pray, we say its because we’re too busy. Is that you?
In reality, its not your schedule that keeps you from praying.
Its your failure to realise the importance of prayer and make time to pray.
And instead of relying on the power of prayer in all that you do, you turn to your feeble wisdom and energy.
You roll up your sleeves and get busy, turning to your own power instead of God’s.
If your life is so busy you can’t pray, have you ever considered its because you haven’t taken the time to ask God for help with your priorities?
Turn to Him, and He will give you the discernment that enables you to use your time well so that you are able to pray.
Ask God today to show you what you need to prioritise and what you have been prioritising above God.
Ask God to show you what you have been depending on instead of Him.
Assess your priorities today and keep prayer at the top of the list.
Until tomorrow
Stay in the blessings
I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word.
When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer.
There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
You’re important to God, and you’re important to us at www.faithministries.com.au.
When it comes to prayer, we believe that God wants to meet your needs and reveal His promises to you.
So whatever you’re concerned about and need prayer for we want to be here for you! Or even if you just want to say Hi, you can contact us
