What Cries Out
Every single human on the face of the Earth understands this simple word: NO. It is heard so often that it is one of the first words a young toddler will speak because of its commonality. This word "no" has power... it incites obedience...is a rebuff and has a 180-degree impact. We pray for guidance and clear paths set for us so that hearing "no" can give us comfort in a decision made... However, speaking "no" also has consequences. In some parts of the world, women die every day speaking this simple word... because their voices are minimized and are seen as weaker... Insignificant even.
