Dan and Mike give a spoiler free review of the crime, drama, thriller, black comedy Promising Young Woman from Director Emerald Fennell starring Carey Mulligan and Bo Burnham.  In her feature film directorial debut, Fennell tackles difficult, but the still timely subject matter of rape.  Mulligan portrays a woman, Cassie, who seeks revenge on those who had a hand both direct and indirect in the traumatizing event inflicted upon her best friend Nina.  Fennell's film never tells you what to think or feel as much as it creates a space for viewers to form their own judgments about the events that served as the main character's motivation to seek vengeance.
