     On Tuesday, June 15th, a 5-year-old girl named Summer Moon-Utah Wells went missing from her home in Hawkins County, Tennessee.  She was last seen by her mother and grandmother going into their home to play in the basement.  An extensive search from law enforcement, along with search and rescue teams ensued for the missing little girl.  The story went national, and the parents gave interviews to media outlets.  Rumors and speculation spread rapidly against the parents, impeding law enforcement’s investigation of the missing little girl.  To date, Summer still hasn’t been found.  We’re going to discuss the case of Summer Wells, possible theories on what happened to her and the psychological impact on families of missing people.
