In the Bay Area to call the Monday night game at Candlestick Park, Jon Gruden blew off plans for dinner in San Francisco, and brought his Monday Night TV partners Mike Tirico and Ron Jaworski to Ricky's Sports Bar on the Oakland side of the bay on Sunday night. He bought a Raiders visor at John Vella's shop next to Ricky's, and spent hours signing autographs and mingling with Raider Nation. Raider Greg is sorry he wasn't there.

Charley Frye will start at QB vs the Broncos this week. Raider Greg is happy with any QB starting instead of JaMarcus Russell, who may have taken his last snap as a Raider.
