Unfortunately, CJ did not have time to do both an election episode & a Halloween episode this year, so he opted for the latter. In this off-the-cuff episode, CJ shares some thoughts and historical perspective on the imminent presidential election, viewed primarily through the lens of two important concepts in American political history that he’s covered multiple times on the DHP over the years; namely, civil religion & party systems.
