"Bitcoin is peer to peer in every sense; it is so by design and it could not be any other way. As free and open source, it is peer-to-peer software; as consensus-driven software, it is a peer-to-peer protocol; as a censorship-resistant protocol, it is a peer-to-peer app; as a distributed app, it is a peer-to-peer network; as a communications network, it is a peer-to-peer language; and as a peaceful language, it is a peer-to-peer community." – Allen Farrington & Sacha Meyers. Just tried listening to Mike Green on Tiggernometry. This show is the box of q-tips needed to clean the crap left in my ears from that one.
awesome ep, I always need a refresher and a guys take in addition to that helps prevent that part of my Bitcoin brain from atrophying
Disarming. Sincere. Prolific. .. and now hashing! thankyou Guy Swann, very impressed. As for requests etc: your read (#634) of dergigi's "the words we use in bitcoin" talks about wallet vs signing device, and also BIP179, IE invoices (not addresses). I've almost given up on trying to spread these 'tips', it feels like i'm pushing uphill. perhaps if all the new people coming in learn it right, then they can overwhelm us 'slower' peeps with better words?
great episode Guy! deze is goed Hicham. greetings from the Netherlands
back to basics it is. keep up the good work
Heyyo nice episode. I was going to suggest breaking down the white paper but apparently you're already way ahead of me. Keep on keeping on.
