Nothing facny, it just boots into Linux Mint in under 30 seconds and I can get right to work. I've only had the BeeLink for about three months but so far it's been rock solid.

Actually it was a political podcast, not a Linux podcast. The host was calling non-paying listeners freeloaders and then saying she needed money for her trip to Europe, I emailed her saying that it was a bad look and might drive listeners away from her otherwise informative show and well I guess she didn't take kindly to that. Oh well, the harassment lasted less than a week and I've never listened again. That for the complement, BDP is one of my favorites.

So that's the quick and dirty of my apparently notable username. If 17 year old me had only known.... Glad I'm not seen as a nuisance...honestly thats kind of a lingering fear for me after a bad experience with a podcast host years ago publicly berating me and giving out my email address....which was fun. Interacting with you, JB, and podcasting 2.0 via boost has definitely helped me move past that incident and start re-engaging with the shows I love. So thanks for everything and keep it up.

In the early 2000's when I first started using the oppy1984 username I didn't think about how it would make me stand out, I was just trying to find a variation of oppy that wasn't already taken. After multiple attempts I tacked 1984 on the end since that is my birth year and it was available so I went with it and have ever since. I even went so far as to buy the domain, don't go there it's the ramblings of a moody and depressed 20 something, it really needs a nuke and pave.

I really like the idea of a wrap up clip show. I really only have time to listen to shows while I'm at work, and as my responsibilities change I find I'm having to spend more time on calls and in meetings and less time listening to podcasts. So having a wrap up show that would allow me to get caught up after a busy week that prevents me from listening to all my shows would definitely be welcomed.

I think the climate and energy discussion is an important discussion to have and welcome it on the show. It may not be everyone's favorite topic, but it's a topic we as bitcoiners have to discuss. Anti-bitcoiners are using this issue to undermine bitcoin and if we don't address it and come up with solutions then we as a community are allowing them to shape the narrative and turn the wider populous against us. Like paying bills, it's not fun but it has to be addressed.
