In this episode, I share where I am in my faith journey as I sort through the many expressions of Christianity and ask a question that’s been weighing on me: which church tradition feels most true, most faithful, and most consistent with the way of Jesus? After years of rejecting the Bible, organized religion, and church altogether, I talk about what changed for me, why I finally began reading Scripture seriously, and how visiting Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant churches has shaped my thinking. I reflect on what I’ve been drawn to in each tradition, why Orthodoxy currently feels like the strongest fit, and how ideas like continuity, discipline, worship, and obedience matter to me now in a way they never did before.I also open up about spiritual hunger, spiritual warfare, discernment, and the danger of false teachers, abuse, and power-driven leadership both inside and outside religious spaces. This conversation is ultimately about my decision to keep choosing Jesus, keep learning, and keep walking in humility rather than pretending I already have all the answers. My hope is that by sharing my testimony honestly, you feel encouraged to seek truth for yourself, stay vigilant, and deepen your own relationship with God.✝️ Get the 11x LOVE Masterclass for FREE https://djvalerieblove.com/11xlove ~ Join the LOVE Tribe for FREE!https://djvalerieblove.com/community~ Thank You for Supporting the LOVE Mission! https://djvalerieblove.com/donate~ SUBSCRIBE TO THE PODCASTYOUTUBE: https://www.youtube.com/@djvaleriebloveWEBSITE: https://djvalerieblove.com/podcastFOUNTAIN.FM: https://fountain.fm/show/761jhxFiibErm7eZZdltAPPLE: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/dj-valerie-b-love-podcast/id1441540841SPOTIFY: https://open.spotify.com/show/6kZfzFZ3wKmWiljDajrJZ5?si=a9433473b06f464bRSS: https://serve.podhome.fm/rss/4996bcea-e098-5a89-ac63-af7a3df7cb5d~ FOLLOW DJ Valerie X: https://x.com/djvaleriebloveNOSTR: https://primal.net/djvaleriebloveFACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/djValerieBLoveINSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/djvalerieblove/LINKEDIN: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dj-valerie-b-love/  (00:00:30) Why choosing a Christian tradition feels confusing(00:02:55) Starting with Scripture, apps, and endless questions(00:04:57) Using Bitcoin as a lens for truth and corruption(00:08:33) Leaving New Age beliefs and reconsidering the Bible(00:14:34) Visiting Orthodox, Catholic, and Protestant churches(00:16:42) What Orthodox teaching says about reading Scripture(00:21:53) Deliverance, demons, and spiritual warfare(00:28:00) Why Orthodoxy feels ancient, stable, and consistent(00:33:47) Memories of Christians who tried to reach her(00:40:18) Questions about Catholic authority and Protestant change(00:48:10) Spiritual hunger, yoga, and the search for sacred space(00:54:42) Choosing Jesus and leaning toward the Orthodox way(00:58:02) Final reflections on repentance, vigilance, and peace(01:01:38) Continuing her work with Jesus at the centerYouVersion Bible App: https://www.youversion.com/bible-appEnglish Standard Version (ESV): https://www.esv.org/Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Bible Canon: https://www.ethiopianorthodox.org/english/canonical/books.htmlThe Orthodox Way (St. Vladimir’s Seminary Press): https://svspress.com/pages/Home.htmlGreek Orthodox Archdiocese of America: https://www.goarch.org/aboutThe Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom: https://www.goarch.org/-/the-divine-liturgy-of-saint-john-chrysostomThe Holy See (Vatican): https://www.vatican.va/Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System: https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-paperOrthodox Church in America: https://www.oca.org/index.php
