Jose Rojas was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. His journey to building Beyond Food Market began with his own personal transformation.
After facing health challenges and gaining a significant amount of weight, Jose made the decision to change the way he lived and ate. He began focusing on gluten-free, plant-based foods, and that shift had a major impact on his health and his life.
That experience inspired him to think bigger. Jose created Beyond Food Market with the goal of bringing healthier, allergy-friendly food options to communities that often have limited access to them. The company is developing a patent-pending, cashless vending system designed to make nutritious food more accessible in underserved communities and food deserts.
Jose began documenting his journey in 2018 after being inspired by Gary Vaynerchuk to share the process publicly. Through his channel, he shares gluten-free vegan recipes, affordable meal ideas, and the behind-the-scenes journey of turning Beyond Food Market from an idea into a real company
