Trader Principle and Value for Value. The Fountainhead and Fountain app.

The Secular Foxhole

We talk about how the trader principle and the value for value model are linked together. Martin gives step-by-step instructions on how to use new podcasts apps like Fountain, and does a shout-out to fellow podcasters, Kyrin Down & Juan Granados. They had Dave Jones of the Podcasting 2.0 initiative on their show, Mere Mortals. We talk also about art, literature, and music. Ayn Rand's books, Anthem, The Fountainhead, and Atlas Shrugged, and Rush's album, 2112, are mentioned during the episode.

Here are some excerpts from Kevin Osborne's email (April 18):

Yes Blair, I thoroughly got a kick out of episode 46 which I finally got to this evening.
And thank you both for the Show Notes for my episode 42. It's great what you guys do with them, and the wonderful exposure you give your guests. To me the contribution I sent was a mere pittance considering the value you gave me. By that I mean the wonderful exposure, the ongoing exposure through the show notes, and of course the sheer enjoyment of being on with you two. Yes, what I sent you was nothing by contrast. ...
It's easy to say that as your fame grows, so does the potential to request a monetary return for the exposure you provide. Even then it's a tough sell, however, because everyone is so used to getting WWW content for free.
